While on the Subject of Art and Bicycles

Duchamp readymade a sham! Doesn't look like any bicycle fork I've ever seen.

After visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I was dismayed to discover that Duchamp's famous Bicycle Wheel sculpture was not made of a Rene Herse, or an Alex Singe, or a Jo Routens fork. In fact, it appeared that the sculpture was not made from a real bicycle fork at all! The horror. To be fair to Duchamp, I later discovered that the original sculpture was lost during the 1930s, and that the artist remade the piece years later calling it an 'assisted readymade'. Cheater.
